suggestion about the friend finder

The point of this website for me is to find people and make friends who suit my music taste, but unfortunately it is not very easy.
Now here is my suggestion:
What if we can be able to make friend search from a detailed list, where we can pick country, city and then the musicians we prefer our friends like, so that we can find people exactly as what we like to.

Last Fm is good but not enough. Because it helps you find people only based on their Top 10 list. But one may really like Jan Garbarek but still won't count him in the top ten list. Therefore, an unlimited musician list, or at least a list containing 50 musicians would be more efficient.
