last.fm widget problem with Ajax framework

Hello,

I am developing a xml driven ajax/js/css framework, and i added the last.fm widget as an example what can be done with my framework. The widget can be loaded and unloaded using the DOM.

The problem is when i loaded the widget, it initializes, and works, but if i change other elements of the page ( not the div layer that holds the widget ) it sometimes happens that the widget assumes a new page has been loaded and reinitializes itself. It should just keep on playing once its loaded.

Is there a way to prevent this? Maybe a flashvar or something?

i would not want to use a swf loader file, because thats dirty.
