Oops! Error connecting

 

  • Issue solved for me at least.

    I had this same problem after I had deleted my account and then opened a new one in the same username. The new account got the "Oops! Error Connecting." Issue all the time, for everything on the site (The radio player had issues creating stations as well). I noticed that when I logged out everything was playing well. So I figured the flash player must be confused when it sees my username because I had deleted an account with the same username. Sure enough, when I created a new account with a different username, it works fine. Hope this helps, even though I think my case is pretty unique.

    oops error connecting is driving me nuts!!!

    since about one or two weeks ago i can barely listen to music on lastfm. i get the "oops error connecting" message nearly everytime i want to listen to music. with the lastfm player on windows xp nad ubuntu and in firefox 3.5 on windows ans linux as well. and im a subscriber so whats wrong?

    It's just at work that I'm unable to use the site though. I figured that there must be some kind of ban on streaming at the server. I can play iPlayer just fine though!
