This is a running list of issues / bugs on the site that the Last.fm team are aware of. Please don't report any of the bugs listed here, and please do also try to keep things in one thread about any specific issue or feedback you may have - thanks!
Please do also have a look at our FAQ section where many other things that are often asked about are answered. Keep an eye on Last.fm's system status here: http://status.last.fm/
Current Issues
Tracks Played Counter
It might happen that the play counter on your profile suddenly drops a lot of plays, although all the scrobbled tracks are still in your charts. This is a display glitch which will correct itself within 24 hours, you haven't actually lost any scrobbles!
Radio Page
The video ads that play before the radio starts can cause some browsers to crash (Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 2, and Safari 3/4).
Adblock Plus, NoScript or other ad- or flash-blocking browser extensions or other computer security can cause problems with the radio page. Read our troubleshooting FAQ
Event Moderation
There is currently a longer resolution time while the event moderation system is being improved, which means it may take some time until your flags are dealt with.
Music Recommendations
You may encounter problems dismissing some artists from your recommendations (those whose names are incorrectly spelt and auto-corrected). Related thread
Sent Messages Page
If you have a large quantity of sent messages (over 100 pages) this page may time out.
Shoutboxes
Shouts from deleted users are hidden in shoutboxes, but the shout counter still takes them into account; e.g. it says there are 5 shouts but you only see 3, when a user who had posted 2 shouts later deleted their account.
Missing Shouts and Journal Entries
Some shouts (related thread) and journal entries (related thread) have been reported missing. See the related threads for more information.
Recent Tracks
In Internet Explorer 8, the mouse-over gear buttons and delete icons for recent tracks may be missing when you're using compatibility view - try disabling it.
Recent Activity
Not all recent activities can be deleted.
There may be incorrect activities, e.g. for image uploads.
Albums
Some albums released on the label Universal appear under the artist [unknown] on the site, and might get scrobbled incorrectly although your ID3 tags are all correct. Related thread
Miscellaneous
Sometimes another picture that is not the current top picture of an artist is displayed for the smaller image sizes. Related thread
Some cover art imported by Last.HQ gets added multiple times.
The timestamps on the site may be off by one hour. (This does not affect your scrobbles, but it's a mere display issue.)
General/Common Issues
Don't forget to check our FAQ for many more answers to other common questions.
Contact Importer
There's no contact importer ("How can I invite my friends to Last.fm?") available at this time. Related thread
Recommended Reading
The old feature is not available anymore, but we're working on new ways of helping you find news and reviews tailored to your taste; also see the following thread for more details on a new version of Recommended Reading. Related thread
Widgets
Widgets and the Facebook apps have been retired now. See here for more information.
Reply Tracker / Grapevine
Your post grapevine or reply tracker might time out sometimes (the tracker only shows this thread). Try refreshing the pages after a short while and they should load properly.
Comments made on other users' journals are not tracked anymore.
It's not possible to subscribe to or unsubscribe from threads with the current reply tracker.
Recent Visitors
(They're a subscriber feature) Sometimes it may happen that your recent visitors disappear; this is because they work based on a so-called least recently used cache that may be empty if no one has visited your profile for a while, or may get cleared during site maintenance.
Country / City Pages
These are currently missing (cities), or only available with some features (countries).
Some country pages are broken and don't load, e.g. the United States and Germany.
