Track counter doesn't show the correct amount

today, i scrobbled approximately 4k songs, I haven't plug my ipod to the computer for quite a while, and now the counter on my page shows 34k, (average 93 songs per day since 2008) which is not true. before that i had more than 100k songs. Can anyone tell what's wrong with the track counter on my profile ?

My track counter isn't updating either, not after 24 hours, not after an entire week...

It shows people scrobbling the songs constantly but it ALWAYS says the same amount of counts for each song.

What's going on?

COul d it have somthing to do with similarly named band listings? Someone must have their MP3s tagged The Next Hundred Years. with a period at the end... but still it has a period at the end...
