    wrong scrobbling time !

So basically I have an hour difference in all my scrobbles from iTunes and also iPhone. I live in Tunisia and I did set the timezone to Africa/Tunis on my profile settings. Time in here is gmt +1 by the way and of course I do have it that way on my computer and iPhone.

Check if your computer’s time is correct, but also its date – day, month and year – and that it’s set to the correct time zone, with “Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time” enabled (if you’re using Windows). It helps to automatically synchronise your computer with an Internet time server, and if you modify any settings, make sure you restart your Scrobbler afterwards before you try again.

Thank you so much for your reply, actually everything is correct, I checked again and it's totally correct (time+date)!
“Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time” is already enabled as well!
    :(
I am pretty sure it has to do with the timezone thing maybe "Africa/Tunis" is not set to gmt +1 or something, I dunno ..

Tunisia has been on CET (Central European Time) since 2009, has this been broken since then? We have the same problem if your timezone is in the Russian Federation since they decided to ignore DST (Daylight Savings Time).

We're going to do some work to bring our timing up to date, so this will be fixed eventually.

sorry for my late reply! I thought this was abandoned!
Anyway, yes Tunisia has been on CET for just a year and this has been broke in 2010..
so is the timing going to be fixed anytime soon PLEASE? or should I have the wrong time on my pc and ipod to get the right time for scrobbling? :/

sorry but this didn't help at all !! :( I think it's a lastfm problem rather than a time/date settings problem on my computer!

  • I am from India and I am having the same problem too. My tracks get scrobbled 30 minutes in the future! I have this problem only when I am using Mediamonkey's scrobbler though.

  • also same problem here..
yesterday i listened music until 4am (my time settings are okay, also my profile settings)
(i am from croatia) and while i'm logged into my profile, it shows that my last track was played at 3 am (?!).. and when not logged in, it shows 2 am (?!).
O.o i really dont get it..

Same problem here too. Yesterday I started an album at 23h36 but on my profile it indicates 22h36. And it's even an hour before when not logged (so 21h36). I'm from France and my time settings are ok too. Strange.

In fact I even have a wrong time when seeing the time of the posts. It indicates 0h55 for the one I left above but it was 1h55. There was Daylight Saving Time in France on March 25 I guess it's the problem.
