nattydagger too many hippies but i just cared about radiohead anyways. i just coudn't believe how many technical problems happened at that show, that was embarrassing for san francisco. their show was awesome though but next year i might jump over the fence.

I wonder what the line up is gonna look like next year...maybe Arcade Fife and Cat Power will show up? To bad i'm poor and i couldn't see Jack Johnson and Andrew Bird on Sun. Oh well, maybe next year.

crissyw schmerr, probably haha. we were on the N, but i saw the 21 following us. EPIC. Agreed though, it was all definitly worth it, and it now makes a crazy story to tell in the future haha.
August 2008 -
S9DallasOz Lightest security ever.
August 2008 -
schmerr crissyw, I might have been there. We caught the 21 and he stopped at the Civic Center station. We all ran out and caught the train with about 2 minutes to spare. I just hope next year that they take into account how many people came this year and accommodate for next year. It was worth it though staying up almost 24 hours for the experience.

Zenkiller any show at shoreline is a wast of money.... if you really want to see radiohead get there early and wait at the stage... or go up on the hills surrounding or something(this goes for tom petty and jack johnson too). Radiohead was great, the sound issues didn't really detract, if anything they made the show a little more interesting. steel pulse was kickass.... manu chao......disappointing... just the same base line and shouts of "HEY" throughout.... great stage presence but the music was lackluster for me...
August 2008 -
ohdearsab amazing.
August 2008 -
terick_g Check out Cafe Tacvba today
August 2008 -
Ninja2theMaxx It would have been better at the Shoreline or something. But really, it does say something about how great of a band Radiohead is if I can not see them at all, except for on a giant screen every now and then, and still enjoy myself. I would have had a way better spot had my friend not wanted to see Beck. I did get to be really close at Beck, but I left early [after he started late!], and sprinted to the Radiohead stage, pushed my way to what was considered fairly close, and still could not see a damn thing. I stared at some guys back the entire time. And some cool lights. Anyway, to all the people taking public transportation there: LEAVE A LOT EARLIER THAN YOU THINK IS NECESSARY. The buses are so packed, and they won't stop and pick you up because there is no more room!
August 2008 -
GucciPiggy90 Radiohead were brilliant as always, but the festival is so poorly put together. Due to the event being so crowded and confined, I could hardly get around or catch a glimpse of Radiohead. For all I know, I could have been listening to a CD (And what was with the temporary losses of sound that occurred not once, but twice during their set? Somebody should be fired for that one.) Aside from being able to "see" Beck and Radiohead, I don't think this event was worth the money. Maybe it's just that Golden Gate Park isn't a great place to hold a festival.
August 2008 -
shakeen radiohead was awesome and manu chao was fun as hell...
