LacesOutGarrett Kings of Leon fans were the biggest cunts ever, not to mention watching Kings of Leon was about the equivalent of watching a Lynyrd Skynyrd revival show. Also there was zero appreciation for Animal Collective, my friends and I and some older asian man wearing a Pitchfork Music Festival shirt were about the only ones into it. Radiohead was of course amazing; I even like the In Rainbows stuff. CSS, Chromeo, The Go Team and Forro In The Dark put on good shows as well.

MattL920 Does anyone know what the (I think) next to last song The Roots played on Saturday was, that ended with the Zeppelin cover? It was the one with the insane guitar solo.

izzfizz andrew bird was so delicious.

Shichman wow another awesome day, even with the MUCH longer lines, was still a good day. Radiohead was disappointing again, i left after 7 or 8 songs. Animal collective was awesome, wish i was closer to see them. Roots stole the show, amazing performance, i've seen them year ago and they just keep getting better. Black Angels were good, kinda flat, but solid. Kings of Leon were horrible, i really dont think they fit well with the festival as a whole.
August 2008 -
Spensar Rarn, that was all my idea and you know it heh
August 2008 -
JesseKidA I really hate saying this, but I was disappointed in Radiohead's set. :/
August 2008 -
coolhanderik Highlights for me: The New Pornographers covering Don't bring me down, the whole Girl Talk set, and of course, Radiohead! Amazing stuff. Can't believe they played Street Spirit.

Rarn We beat the bullshit gigantic lightrail line by walking 5 minutes over to the next station haha.
August 2008 -
andstickybones Radiohead was fantastic! The songs from In Rainbows translated really well live, yet I wish I could've seen more from The Bends-era. It turned out to be a beautiful day yesterday, too... despite that rain we had early on.
August 2008 -
incsuch311 thanks Jasono... absolutely amazing performance!! It's gotta be such a thrill for the artists at All Points West to be able to play in front of such an amazing skyline... the Statue of Liberty out yonder.. what a thrill!
August 2008 -
antoniuspius Well I basically went for Radiohead and I think I got my money's worth. I think they played every song on In Rainbows, or just about all of them, which was awesome. Wish I was going tonight since I'd assume they'd be playing a totally new set with maybe more older songs. But they sounded amazing outdoors, which is quite an accomplishment. And yeah, the light-rail system is horrid.
August 2008 -
deevo Light-rail system sucks and getting there from New York is a real pain in the ass. Radiohead was beyond boring. Set-up was really good, you could walk back and forth and find a good line of sight almost anywhere anytime.

bklynd The light rail system is really quite dinky, and it seemed like it was going to take forever to get back with the hundreds streaming out of the show. So we *walked* back to Jersey City - seemed like about 2 miles? Also, be warned that the official lots were a little hard to find - they promise signage, but the lots themselves aren't marked. Look for people in yellow reflective vests. The Radiohead set was great, actually. 2 hours, w/ 2 sets of encores. It seemed like they played all of In Rainbows, plus maybe 10 older tunes.
August 2008 -
tothebarricades no one should sound that fucking good outdoors. ridiculous.
August 2008 -
Shichman Great show! Andrew Bird was awesome! Radiohead was REALLY disappointing, how many new songs did they play? Would have been great to hear more older stuff. The show was very well organized and i got there and back very fast on the ferry. Great day! I was a bit pissed that Grizzly Bear ended 15 minutes early because i got there late and really wanted to see them... Oh well, at least it gave andrew bird an extra 15 minutes.
August 2008 -
power_0ut how early is everyone getting there tomorrow?
August 2008 -
BtB_Inc Radiohead and Girl Talk? WOW. Be there soooooon.
