Group Rock for People Festival
RFP Pilsen
This first year of the Rock for People Europe Festival will be held in Pilsen between July 3rd and July 5th this year, and follows on from the traditional RfP in Hradec Kralove in June. In Pilsen, we will take advantage of everything that an urban festival offers. The festival area will be tailored to make use of the magical industrial spaces, including diverse crevices and corners.
The musical and entertainment program will be situated in a former transport depot in Presslova street.
Pilsen is the European City of Culture for 2015, so this guarantees that the festival will have a distinctly European feel. This means that, as well as the music, visitors will have the opportunity to visit the many interesting projects that are going on throughout the time as City of Culture. In response to this title, we'll be presenting at least one musical bite from each of the 28 European countries. On show won't be only great new discoveries, but also smaller bands and special showcase events.
