Holland’s very own Roadburn Festival has become Europe’s leading underground festival for psychedelic, avant-garde, doom or any other variation of leftfield sonic pleasures that push the boundaries of music.

Originally a spin-off of the Roadburn website, the Roadburn Festival has emerged as an event in its own right. It brings together bands, fans & media from around the world. Despite it’s international acclaim, Roadburn Festival retains an underground vibe and ethics, but with seriously big-league production values.

In addition to the music, Roadburn has earned a reputation as having a unique camaraderie between the festivalgoers, bands, organizers and staff, and ranks as one of the best and most laid-back festivals to be experienced. It is one of the festival’s primary goals to make the Roadburn experience second to none, not only for the fans but for the artists as well.

Oh yes, completely crazy festival. I couldn't expect a better way to finish the last day than a transcendental, epic and spatial show by The Cosmic Dead. Waah. They sent me really far. And oh, to the guy who was singing the last night at the campsite : I have no idea of who you are but, you've got such an amazing voice !

what a great great festival... personally, I think it's very hard to pick out just one highlight. eternal tapestry, the cosmic dead, amenra, uncle acid, cult of luna, golden void and ash borer were so fucking awesome. can't wait for next year's roadburn! thank you walter and the rest of the team for creating such a special festival!

I really hope some quality video footage (or an audiostream) from Satan's Satyrs Blue Cheer tribute set surfaces sooner or later, by the gods that was incredible! _O_

@stian86 Yep. I got this release from roadburn couple of days ago. Thanks anyways. Hope they release something really soon. (And of course it is Katie Jones not Holmes).

@grisha0008 My Proud Mountain released this (the second in a series) on this year's Record Store Day. Baizley performs If I Needed You on it. As close as you'll get, I think. He also performed an (as far as I know) original acoustic song with Katie JONES at Sounds (maybe he did it at Patronaat as well) and said he wanted to record it with his band some day.

Can somebody write the setlist for the show John Baizley/Nate Hall/Katie Holmes did in Het Patronaat please? Has any of Baizley's acoustic and solo work been released on an album as well?

Perfect...just a complain about the non-smoke policy: the people should respect this and dont smoke in the concert venues...its really annoying to know that its forbidden and the people dont care about the others.

Great festival again :) The outside food area was a great move... And the concerts were ace! See everybody next year (it does seem to be the exact same people though :D )
