About fourteen months ago, I saw a somewhat updated revival of the musical "Oklahoma!" and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was the keystone show in the reopening of Arena Stage, a respected local theater venue that was recently renovated. Particularly noteworthy were the mixed-race cast and the standout performances of the actors in the support roles of Judd Frye and Ado Annie. The show was so popular that it sold out almost immediately and was brought back for another run in the summer that also sold out quickly.
