The Sorrow sind eine Metalcore Band aus Vorarlberg, Österreich. Die Band wurde 2005 von den jetzigen Bandmitgliedern gegründet. Mätze und Andi spielten jahrelang in der Band Disconnected, Dominik und Tobi in der Hardcore-Band Distance. Dominik stieg bei Disconnected ein und später ersetzte Tobi den Bassisten der Band, womit die aktuelle Besetzung vollständig war.
