The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, a/k/a Jazz Fest, is a 10-day cultural feast in which thousands of musicians, cooks and craftspeople welcome 400,000 visitors each year. The Louisiana Heritage Fair showcases unforgettable music on multiple stages, delicious Louisiana cuisine in two large food areas, and crafts artisans from the region and around the world demonstrating and selling their work. The Louisiana Heritage Fair is held at the Fair Grounds Race Course over the course of 2 weekends. They are April 23,24,25 & April 29,30, May 1,2, 2010.

    I've checked the line up of Apr. 23 and I do not see Van Morrison playing. Does anyone know the time and stage. I see him playing on May 2 @ 3:15.

    Man, I'm so bummed that MMJ and S&G are playing at the same time, I was hoping that they'd put them one after the other on the same stage.

    frnsiscatheman: I don't know where you are but in Louisiana we generally have finals a week or two AFTER Jazz Fest. So yeah, after 40 years of throwing this thing at the same time every year... I'm pretty sure the festival organizers do know when the fans are available.

    Pearl Jam The new Stones, Heading The Roo, Lallapaloza, Summerfest(Millwalkee) When I first pop in Ten back in 91 I had know idewl how big they would become, but I thanked the rock god for delivering my from the B.S. of the 80,s I'll be in N.O. For Jazz fest!!
