Three days of heavy rock music over five stages at Donington, the spiritual home of rock!

Download 2010 will be taking place on 11, 12 and 13 June, and next year’s event will be something special as 2010 marks the 30th anniversary of Donington Park’s heritage with rock. From the infamous and legendary “Monsters of Rock” festival, which began in 1980; to more recently the epic Download Festival – the site has played host to some of the world’s greatest rock performances of all time. Many bands still to this day consider playing at Donington Park as their ‘defining career moment’, and next summer you’re all invited to help us celebrate in style.

    Yer I did have that thought about it being a slim chance getting to see Aerosmith again but then I reliased I dont really like Aerosmith so went to see Stone Sour. They were fantastic it has to be said, Corey was a really good frontman as always and I'll probably go and see a headline date in the winter.

    Surprised to see so many people saying Stone Sour were so good, would've thought more would go see Aerosmith since the chances of seeing them again are pretty slim. Aerosmith's set was absolutely fantastic!

    @jonowev: yeah definately, my best was sheffield corp which is similar size to that, they are truly amazing in smaller venues
