I've tried to keep it fairly brief here.
Yeah yeah yeahs: Were rocking, but I couldn't help but think something was missing.
Tortoise: Awesome grooves.
Afrirampo: Afrirampo!!!! Psychedelic garage rock craziness in a red dress with red lipstick smeared allover it's face. Never fails to entertain (although there may have been more audience interaction if they hadn't been put on a stage that was about twice the height of them with a barrier separating it from the audience by about 3 meters).
Shellac: Fucking fantastic. Awesome music combined with great stage banter and interaction with the audience, makes for a brilliant vibe.
The Melvins: Lakes of vibrating sludge rock epicness, with free T-shirts being thrown into the audience followed by a bass yielding Arab.
The Breeders: Disappointing and boring set. Adequate music played in a lazy fashion that lacked energy. We were promised a surprise at the end of the set, it turned out to be a cake (I was expecting Iggy Pop).
