The festival is well known all over the world, and is one of the nicest and well-managed venues in Europe. This reputation is not just built upon the many brilliant musicians who has performed at the festival, but also on its unique and beautiful location – the island of Skeppsholmen.

gakko Wow, more than 50% jazz this year! Trying to get away from being nominated as "The Worlds Crappiest Jazz Festival" for the tenth time maybe? Still Norway, Finland, Denmark and Västerbotten does it a lot better.
