The Roots were the act of the weekend, no competition. They just flat out slayed. I liked Tiga the most on day 2. He was crazy good, it was also raining and muddy and everyone was just dancing. Made it much more epic.

Arctic was okay, just not so into their new stuff and Miike Snow was a little dissapointing. I thought YYYS and Vampire Weekend killed it though! Great fest overall. Looking forward to next year already!

I dont know if I believe that whole story they told us about CC getting stuck in NYC. Judging from how drunk Alice was I think she was just in the back pounding shots. I did not think the Arctic Monkeys played a very good show. Any Thoughts?? Girltalk was incredible.

Crystal Castles got stuck in NYC, and had to take a plane to Ottawa, then drive to MTL. On top of that, Ethan's equipment didn't seems to work as he wanted to, so they had to cut their set at 11. It sucks, but at least they played. My highlight was The Decemberists playing Hazards Of Love from one end to another!!!

I think it's still gonna be a big name act. The Beastie Boys were playing 3 festivals around that time. I guess the 3 festivals will get together and try to figure something out.

Damn! The Roots playing at the same time as Lykke Li, same thing for Coldplay and Girl Talk, Crystal Castles and The Beastie Boys, Arctic Monkeys and Tiga. I Will have to make some hard choices! It hurts more when some time slot are not that appeling, while other time slots are filled with 2 or 3 bands that I want to see are playing at the same time.

Au début, "Osheaga En Ville" était supposé etre le 30 et 31juillet, donc je me suis dit: Autant bien touts les mettre simplement dans "Osheaga". Mais la ca regarde comme si c'est du 28 au 31 avec le show de The Veils.
