The opening band was almost painful to listen to at times, once MBV got started the the whole fucking thing turned around. Awesome show even if some of the vocals and subtleties of the sound got lost in the feedback and noise, it almost didn't matter. The rumors are true, a few hip kids in their too cool for school outfits were heading for the doors and every time I turned around somebody new was putting their fingers to their ears. I didn't think that static/drone/feedback at the end was ever going to stop. Good show but a little too short considering the stature of the band and how long they've been away. I Only Said was a great opener.
