Finally Punk is a band that obviously picks up moves forward where riot grrrl bands like Bikini Kill and Bratmobile left off - so obviously that the depiction was also painted by Bikini Kill’s Tobi Vail, who loves them, as do the folks at MaximumRockNRoll, who gave Finally Punk mention on their cover last month.
Karl Blau K Records
Karl Blau has played in several bands over the years, such as D+, Brothers Blau, Captain Fathom and Your Heart Breaks. He also has collaborated extensively with other Washington-based musicians, including Phil Elvrum of the groups The Microphones and Mount Eerie. In addition, he has toured and recorded with Laura Veirs, whose career also began in the Pacific Northwest.
Karl Blau also plays drums/ guitar on the new Ian Svenonious record, The Chain and the Gang; Veronica of Finally Punk is singing on that record too :)
