This show was worlds apart from the La Riviera gig where they played as a support act a few months back: better venue, great use of the back screen and the Vetustas seemed in their natural habitat, of course this time they were the main event, ...what was it about fish growing to fit the bowl they're in?!
The highlights were the beautiful Al respirar and the energising Valiente, - one that noone can avoid dancing to (also one that gets me out of the house and off to work even on the darkest of mornings). Though it was the more raunchy La cuadratura del círculo that brought Pucho to life and one which he belted out, dancing as one should, or "como dios manda".
Iglús really let Pucho's vocals shine, and its on stage presentation (the singer and a blue-eyed guitarist behind the back curtain first appear peering into a webcam of sorts, both silhouetted on to the screen…
