    Sábado 24 Jan – Alanis Morissette - SIARÁ HALL

    Alanis Morissette concert in Fortaleza was the third Brazilian date of her South American Tour. It was one of the first international mainstream rock concerts in the city, so the venue was quite crowded. A couple of hours late, the craziness began. She was accompanied by a great five piece band. Oh God, she was on fire! And, believe me, so was the crowd. Maybe there were too many people singing along TOO loud every song. I couldn't even hear her harmonica! Not to mention the other details of the apparently great arrangements. Unfortunately, that's the Brazilian way of watching a concert. But she loved it so much.

    The setlist was fine. Despite the absence of Under Rug Swept tracks, I had some good surprises, like The Couch, Uninvited, Sympathetic Character and Perfect. The new songs were great, especially Moratorium. You Oughta Know isn’t one of my favorites, but it sounded orgasmic live. …
