I sat at the very last row on the upper circle (i.e., literally 3rd level), so I was able to see a whole bunch of unoccupied seats throughout the venue. For instance, there were two seats dead-middle in the very first row--right in front of the stage--that I believe were vacant. And two rows in front of me, there were 5 seats in-a-row together that were empty for the entire show. It's a shame, really. What a wonderful show it was, and scalpers prevented so many people from experiencing it.

Ticketmaster are simply rubish. They don't freaking care about the music, just about the money. The tickets were sold out one minute after the release, and, of course, you could find it on them sister website ticketsnow right way. It is completely anoying, and I hope the band don't work with them anymore. Because the management of the band was informed about this shit the same week this happened, and I can tell they were really upset.

Got tickets on regular sale, through ticketmaster. At noon it kept telling me no tickets were avaialble, but i figured it can't be right, cause it was like, still noon. so i tried like 4 times, kept refreshing... finally i got a ticket in the first row of the circle around the orchestra pit! AMAZING SEATS. I know ppl will be jealous BUT at least you can know that scalpers did NOT get all the good seats that morning.

Crazy!!! I got my tix from the band's site and then tried to get a better one on LiveNation and TM and had no luck with either of them. Figured there was just something wrong with the links ... had no idea they sold out that quickly! Crazy!!!!!! I'd hate to be a scalper at the Chan that night!! They're not going to be popular people!!!

I can't believe this sold out that quickly. I got in on the LineNation presale after just missing the official presale on their website. Upper Circle Row B 337/338. Sound is AMAZING! at the Chan Centre. I'm so excited to see them again after them blowing me away at The Vogue.

I'm actually EXTREMELY interested in finding 2 tickets for under $100 each for the Sigur Ros concert at the Chan Center in Vancouver. I want to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday (they're his absolutely faaaaavorite band) but I can only find tickets for over $170 each. Here's what happened for me on TM. I logged in right at noon, and the one ticket that showed up was in high orchestra. I did another search to see if i could get something better (stupid me!). Next ticket available was something way up there. Tried search again, and now all tickets were gone. Noticed there was American Express front of the line option and tried that, and was able to get a ticket up in the balcony somewhere. Phew, at least I got one. Very much looking forward to this show!

Ridiculous. I was on the TM site at 12PM and got no joy. Worst part I'm not even sure who to be angrier at, TM or livenation. For those of you that got tickets and haven't seen Sigur, they were amazing last time in Vancouver (at a much bigger venue oddly).

Looked for internet connection and you dick ticketmaster, you don't even say it's sold out, you just keep me guessing and act even more evil than you already are. Been waiting for this since the last one. Who the fuck wants to pay this much and bid on ebay for tickets you might not even win cuz you sleep at 4am when the tickets sell at final auction? I think we should gang up and protest scalpers at the show and make them seem like HUGE pricks for screwing us over ten fold. Anyone?

WTF Ticketmaster? Why did Livenation release these tickets sooner?! If I see scalpers there I am gonna punch them in the nose. Was anybody other than 1 person of the 54 who say they are attending able to get tickets on regular sale? Ironically and hypocritically, we're considering getting tix from a scalper because of how badly we wanna see them. This is a very unhappy Friday!!! I loathe scalpers so much. :-(

yeah, the higher part that's purple. i've only been to a few valedictories at the CC..the views are generally ok. i can't really comment on the sound, though. can't wait for the show!!

er..i hope so! i bought a couple of tickets today + got a confirmation e-mail saying i would receive them at least two days before the show. since it's kinda "late" into the presale...maybe wait until friday when TM will (most likely) have a number of good seats available? i don't know. i just checked the TM website and it does mention Live Nation..so yeah, i'm thinking it's legit.
