Sigur Rós at the Central Hall Westminster

I'd been anticipating the Sigur Rós gig for a while now. I'd never had the chance to see this band live before so I was quite excited to get this chance. I'd been hyping it up for a long time, which isn't a great thing to do, because it might not live up to your expectations. However, in this case, they still exceeded them.
The support act was Helgi Jonsson, who also plays the trombone in the brass band for Sigur Rós. The crowd was appreciative and were asked to voice an opinion on whether the "sad song" (Dry Run) or "happy song" (Digging up a tree). It was decided the sad one should be played first.
At 8:30, after some minor trickery, Sigur Rós took to the stage, opening with Svefn-g-englar. During the bridge of the song, Jónsi lifted his guitar to his mouth and proceeded to sing through the pickups. the track ended with one note held on for what seemed an age. Jaws dropped. the band swiftly moved onto Glósóli from the Takk... album. The first taste of the new album came two songs later, with the track
