A dream like trajectory can be attributed to Lisa Mitchell's career thus far, with her knack for writing accessible and credible pop songs being a legacy she's already achieved - quite a feat for a 24 year old.
'Wah Ha' has been heard around the world, starting with a chat with Richard Kingsmill launching the song on '2014' on Triple J. Since then, the song has received regular play in the UK on BBC6 and XFM and in the USA on KCRW, specifically the 'Morning Becomes Eclectic' show with Jason Bentley.
Supporting Lisa, is the incredible EAST. Her new EP Old Age has already had two songs featured on Triple J - iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/old-age-ep/id897420920
Lisa is doing an intimate set of East Coast shows, tickets limited, so get in early. Tickets on sale Tuesday 9th December.
New single Wah Ha, out now on iTunes. Watch the lush video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7bTT7vlJ5U
PILERATS: "Wah Ha will ease you back into her chilled folk sounds, and that lush, breathy coo".
BACKSEAT MAFIA: "Wah Ha is just about the most beautiful, dreamy sucker punch you're ever likely to get".
ADAM NOT EVE: "you will find 'Wah Ha' absolutely irresistible".
AAA BACKSTAGE: "Lisa Mitchell goes from strength to strength".
