OAFTOURING and ATP are proud to announce that Fuck Buttons will be playing at Oxford Art Factory this October. They will be joined by special guests Standish/Carlyon (Melb) and Kanyon.
Fuck Buttons was conceived by Andrew Hung & Benjamin John Power in the winter of 2004. Initially the group was born as an outlet for their nihilistic-noise tendencies but quickly, the two realised they could harness the use of noise as a tool to immerse and evoke. No longer afraid of melody or rhythm, the group started fusing all these elements to the point when drone becomes melody becomes rhythm.
The band have gone from strength to strength with the releases on ATP/R of 'Street Horrrsing' (2008) to mass acclaim, touring extensively in the UK and US including numerous festival appearances and their last album, "Tarot Sport" (2009).
Their incredible third album, 'Slow Focus' was released on July 22nd and has been receiveing amazing reviews.
With the release of their incredible third album, 'Slow Focus', Fuck Buttons are excited to announce a European tour. The album is receiving amazing reviews across the board.
