missed The Smashing Pumpkins too... twice !

But, quite good.
I think the Pearl Jam show really was the highlight, with an awesome show, and second would have to be NOFX which my brother and I had been willing to see live for years.

Well, last night I was very fortunate to attend the Sun 10 Feb – Somewhere Back In Time World Tour. Iron Maiden's second show for Sydney.

The night began with a sea of guys with black shirts and blue jeans, and I was happy to be one of them sporting my Iron Maiden "Killers" tshirt, a popular choice for the evening.

As I approached the entrance of the Acer Arena, one of the gaurds told me that I would need to check my wallet chain in the cloakroom around the corner. His reason: "It's a weapon". My reaction: "Weapon?! You're fucking selling them inside!". Minor inconvenience of the evening, but in no way Iron Maiden's fault :)

Appetizer, Lauren Harris, the daughter of the great Maiden musician, Steve Harris. Her band was good, music was enjoyable. Her voice could've been better, but to be fair, I didn't know what to expect from her. Quite tasty, full flavour, not too dry.
