Tue 30 Oct – Between the Buried and Me, Horse The Band, Animosity, The End
giant was first band, filling in for the end i think. they had a cool ambient, atmosh-pheric thing goin on that was pretty cool.
second band was animosity; a little too tuffguy for me, but enjoyable nonetheless. during the first half of the set i was outside.
horse's set fucking pwned hard. the energy was nuts and they are musical geniuses. except some people fucking suck at dancing etc. and lighting rugs on paper. nathan's between-set asshole-ing was hilarious at least( "who wants us to play FREEBIRD?" "kill yourselves" etc lol), and they made the show fun, i was drenched in sweat afterward from the frenetic action in the crowd, and i loved it.
btbam was also awesome, but they didnt have nearly as much stage presence/ fun alltogether. but their music is insane. notable standouts were informal gluttony and white walls. white walls at the end of the set was inspiring and intense. …
