Cheers! Come join us for a night of creativity and passion. Celebrating the Website Launch of a new NON-Profit business incubator, Kustom Journey. A collaborative effort between Emerging Artist Connect, and Free From Greed Inc.

As you can see this will be an all-day affair, the first half of the day we will be celebrating from 11 to 6 over at 93 Howard Ave Between Halsey St and Hancock, the home of Kustom Journey.

Bring the little ones, or awaken the little one in you with fun interactive classes and workshops that let you experiment and have fun while learning something new… Or just come get your face painted like a princess or dragon like you wanted to do when you were 10 years old… =)~

The events scheduled for the day’s affairs are as follows…

11am-12pm
Meet and Greet for EAC Resident artists, Local artists and Community Members; and kids, yes we love kids and everything will be set for a family centered atmospheric experience (don’t believe us?) Free Hot Chocolate all day!! (… Or until supplies last…)

12pm-1pm
Finger Painting and Body Art with Sir Cleen and Senor Derti! Enter the fascinating world of finger painting and body painting

1pm - 2pm
Intro to Crocheting - Learn the craft and use it as art, meditation, an income earner, a fun activity with your kids, or… just learn how to make your own hats and scarfs for the winter…

2pm-3pm
Arts and Creative Crafts Class- Valentine’s Day Card Workshop - Kustom Journey believes in creating something for someone you love to go with that gift you paid soooo much for…

3pm-4pm
Hand Crafted Jewelry Making class - Buy diamonds from Jacob or come learn from our local master crafter Pamela, a local Brooklyn resident that is eager to teach others how to create.

4pm-5pm
Financial Literacy Class - Getting Ahead in Your Personal Finance - taught by our friends at The Brooklyn Cooperative Federal Credit Union.

5pm-6pm
Urban Survivor - Urban Indoor Gardening - This class is a beginner’s course on how to start your own indoor vegetable and herb garden.

Then at 6pm the party starts over at 3rdEYE(Sol)ation just 3 blocks from Kustom Journey @ 1501 Broadway. This is when the hoopla and shenanigan begins so leave the kids at home. This is a Free event but we will be taking donations for the beer and wine…

We have the pleasure of viewing the visual alchemy (Art) from Resident EAC Artist, Some of Kustom Journey’s Designers and Local Artist, Body art from K.I.L.L. and The Bash Bros.
