GRIMES live at Islington Mill

//With an eccentric, dreamy and highly individual sound, GRIMES, 23 year old Montreal native, Claire Boucher, describes her music as ‘post-internet’, drawing upon everything from dupstep to disco, Eastern Music to 90’s r ‘n b.


She is also nothing short of prolific. In February of this year, she will release her fourth album, Visions, in the space of three years on legendary UK label 4AD.

We’re tremendously excited to bring one of our favourite artists of the last few years to the intimate surrounding of Islington Mill.

    @RickyB123 Well, I'm not an educated man; but judging from the words used I would deduct that the language in question is English. Furthermore, may I be so bold as to hazard a guess that, based on the informal grammar and dialect, the message was possibly typed ad verbatim as it flowed from the posters mind? I'm sorry if I offended your delicate sensibilites by being a care-free rascal for a brief moment on this shoutbox and bashed at the keys ham-fistedly in a sembelance of the Queen's English, you must understand I am an adventurer at heart and was merely trying to break into linguistic territories anew.     This thang is 75 tickets over sold, so it's going to be mad levels of packed yo. Saw her yesterday and it was seven shades of dope though, even if 60% of the crowd looked completely lost. Hope she plays a sweet version of Genesis backwards again.
