Adam Stafford returns to Edinburgh for another sure to be stunning performance of his unique brand of off-kilter alternative rock type stuff. More proof, were it needed, that it is possible for a man to beatbox and play mouth-trumpet without looking at all like a dick.


Radio Trees is the solo guise of Michael John McCarthy, full time Zoey Van Goey member and part time accordian player for Aidan John Moffat. Obviously he’ll be brilliant, but if you’re still not convinced his press-blurb says he „won’t disappoint fans of Sparklehorse, Okkervil River and early Neutral Milk Hotel.“ So just shut up, nonbeliever.

Loch Awe seem to only ever play shows with Adam Stafford nowadays. Not that they’re complaining, obviously, the guy’s brilliant. Anyhow, they’ll hopefully have some finished recordings of new stuff by the time this show happens, so if you come along as well as hearing the songs live you may well get a badly designed CD-R of their album sampler.
