ugh yeah i wish i had just come at 9pm.. the support band made me go mad! i was at the front next to the smoke machine which blew off smoke in a cracking noise every two seconds while two older cockney guys burped out comments every now and then in between beers til one of them out of excitement spat on my face.. then i went to the back. nonetheless, i loved the concert! it was quite long as well. i was happy she did marche funebre as well, it was chilling.

Urggh, no, the PA in Koko is probably the worst in London. It managed to make Neubauten sound like duck pond. I'm hoping Sunn 0))) blow it next month and they have to buy a better one...

I agree that the wait was very painful, especially for someone as special as Soap & Skin. I found the support underwhelming to say the least. For someone this talented I really wish there was not support at all. It didn't need it. However, I somehow missed the Union Chapel show in 2010, and I was devastated about all that. So above all it was so special for me to finally see Anja for the first time after such a long wait. I agree though, I really wish it was seated. Next time a seated venue is surely a must. She deserves that, and so do the fans. Anyway, Thanks so much Anja ... an incredible performance! come back to the UK soon. Best, Patrick.

this dj support wasn't that bad. kudos for him for playing Vincent Gallo near the end.

Pity she didn't decide to come to Dublin again. The '09 gig there was perfect. Seats, no dickheads with iphones, no pre-show audio torture, and no traveling for me. Not that it wasn't worth it, but the two hour wait was excruciating. Can only assume sensory overload was the intention there.
