One of the biggest discoveries of 2011, Hidden Orchestra are back in London with their biggest headline show to date. Fresh from mesmerising a packed KOKO for the Tru Thoughts showcase in November, the Scottish quartet head now to XOYO in Old Street to deliver their bass heavy, brooding and beautiful sounds. Having found a perfect balance between electronic beats, deep basslines, string instruments and the astonishing synergy of their two drummers (!) Hidden Orchestra succeed in putting on a show that is as stimulating for the mind as it is for the body. We can’t recommend this band enough.

Joining them will be the dreamfolk collective Mt. Wolf - this London based four-piece take the best elements of sequenced synths, melodic strings, deep bass grooves and soulful vocals and combine them all into a cinematic fusion of heart-melting harmonies and contemporary, endlessly danceable electronica.

Polaroid 85 specialise palatable, live orchestral soul - often drawing comparisons to Bonobo, Portishead and Zero 7. They are an up-and-coming outfit to keep an eye out for!

Tom Central and Cosmo Lopez of Keep Up! Records will be providing their high quality brand of audiovisual goodness to send you dancing into the night.
