Sun 29 Jul – Between the Buried and Me, The Red Chord, Cephalic Carnage, arise and ruin
Right so after being in Egypt doing nothing for the past month, I finally returned in time to check out a really creative band that I’ve taken to over the last year –BTBAM. Andrew and I headed to the city of Hamilton at the venue known as the Hamilton Underground. We of course came across some unexpected surprises when we took the train in that direction, and after one stop were told that this was the final stop, until we deduced that in fact there was a bus that continued the rest of the way. Anyway, not as bad as some of other times haha.
We make our way to the venue, and its 45 minutes after it should have started, we found Sary and made it just in time to get to the front for the first band-Arise and Ruin- to take the stage. I think they were pretty much strictly hard core. Pretty primitive and generic as far as I could tell, but I don’t really listen to this stuff, so it’s hard to judge appropriately. …
