Hip-Hop Karaoke 2nd Annual Competition Edition

After the incredible success of Hip-Hop Karaoke’s first Competition Edition we have returned again with a second round, in what hopes to be a long-standing annual hip-hop tradition. Last year over 20 talented individuals graced the stage of Revival and gave it their best in a battle of furious rhymes and dance moves in front of a frenzied capacity crowd. HHK veteran Mandy Cheetham eventually emerged victorious with a truly memorable rendition of Salt N Pepa’s classic „Shoop.“ Celebrity judges included the legendary Das EFX and Michie Mee (who both also tore the roof off with a live performance) along with Master T and DJ X.

This year Hip-Hop Karaoke welcomes back Saukrates for a special live performance! A few years ago the Toronto veteran shocked a packed crowd at The Boat in Kensington Market with a surprise appearance on the venue’s tiny stage. HHK has decided it’s time to finally bring him back to properly rock the spot, along with special guest judges Mastermind (Flow 93.5), Jonathan Ramos (The Union) and Garvia Bailey (CBC Radio 1’s Big City, Small World).
