Maybe because it's easier to appreciate the music when you aren't jumping around like a buffoon :) I was actually quite ill so it was perfect for me

I was on a visit to some friends in the UK so I went to this gig instead of the one in Holland. But I must say I was a bit disappointed with the British audience. They were very annoying during Pain of Salvations performance, talking through everything and hardly headbanging/jumping along like I'm used to. But al right they were the warm-up act,so I guess a lot of people may not have liked them. But even during Opeths performance it was still relatively tame in my opinion.

I wasn't complaining at all! Personally I loved it and I agree that people should have expected this direction for this tour due to the sound of the new album.

Why is everyone complaining they didn't play any heavy songs? It was undoubtedly going to be a lot different to what alot of Opeth gigs are like, due to the significant differences of the new album. Fans should've expected that. Mikael was on top form, and sounded amazing, as usual!

I think it was low-energy gig, with Mikael clearly unmotivated. The songs which they played from their back catalouge are great within the context of other heavy songs, but as a standalone songs were just out of place.

Great gig, the new material comes across really well live. Played plenty of songs I'd not seen them perform before as well ... Credence!! Never been to the brixton academy, did not enjoy the sloping floor.

Pretty much the perfect clean vocal setlist (if you exclude songs from Damnation), but I think it would have benefited from a couple of heavy songs.
