Masayoshi Fujita (JP) LIVE (Faitiche, Flau, Moteer)

Masayoshi Fujita is a vibraphonist and composer based in Berlin. Being influenced by classic, jazz and many other kinds of music, but not following ordinary vibraphone play style and theory of composition, Masayoshi seeks his own sound of vibraphone, and new possibility of it.


He also sometimes makes unique and beautiful sound using bows (for string instruments), strings of beads and other objects on his vibraphone. The music he makes has very unique atmosphere and suggests images and stories to the listener.

Nigel Wright creates slabs of heavy drones, underlying rhythms trying to get out and sometimes succeeding, speakers sometimes complaining… NW uses his laptop and guitar to aid him in creating these pieces with no particular beginning or ending points, more a filtering of a sound that already exists. NW also collaborates with Andrew Scott (half of Metal Rouge) as Nest.

The Digital in Berlin Music Salon takes place @ The KissKiss Ballroom either on the third or last Tuesday of every month. The event series will feature serious forms of quality music from forward-thinking electronic/experimental musicians to folk & singer-songwriters, classical minimalist and drone composers.

The Ballroom is a top floor loft directly above Mauerpark; an exclusive hairdressing salon in the daytime, and at night a relaxed and unassuming space with international events and performances.
