And so, after alot of anticipation, it came. Tuesday 22nd may heralded Johnossi at The Spitz.
The set evening was opened by Sounds Like Violence who's music I'm not sure if I liked or not, because it was so loud. the first song was pretty much just static as far as I could tell. I think it got slightly better towards the end, but it was still unnecesarily loud for the 20 or so people there. There were towards the end of their set a couple of catchyier songs, but nothing I really liked, even now with listening to stuff online. It didn't help that they had no charisma on stage whatsoever. They need to take a leaf out of Johnossi's book on how to control the audience, and they have to stop pretending to be robots/Maxïmo Park when on stage. I can say one good thing abiout them though... the music they came the stage to was fantastic.
At least the music that was played while Johnossi was setting up was better than when I went to see Malajube! They palyed some catchy jazz…
