Thu 20 Jan – The Queers, The Apers, The Sheckies
I would have to say this stop of The Queers in my town of Philadelphia was one of the bands best stops in a few years. In December of 2009 they put on a great set and I got to catch up and chat with my pal Joe Queer more, but what made this event special is the fact Wimpy was there, so you can only imagine how crazy the crowd got when the old school tracks came out and Wimpy did his thing. I can't recall the set list 100% but I know they did play almost half off the tracks from the recent release "Back To The Basement"plus of course the classic like "Tamira is a Punk","Punk Rock Girls","Fuck The World","Love,Love,Love", and many more. Closed out with a ramones cover, witch like always is "Shenna Is A Punk Rocker" I had a blast and the crowd was great and got to catch up with many old friends and people I see always at shows.
