Fri 15 Oct – Powderfinger (Sunsets - The Farewell Tour)

Bendigoin OFF!!!

Funny concert up in Bendigo, 2 degree temperature and in the mud. Great concert though, Jet the best support act I've seen but Powderfinger blew them away. They even made fun of them when they went home early. Burn Your Name, Lost and Running, Sunsets, My Kinda Scene, Already Gone, My Happiness, Sail the WIldest Stretch, and the last one These Days went off. They surprised us halfway by showing us a film on Russian space exploration whilst they went off stage, later to pop up out of nowhere in the middle of the audience playing 'Like a Dog'. Great drum solo. Bernard singing 'Nobody Sees' acoustic with harmonica back on stage. They were brilliant even though they had stacks of songs they didn't play like 'Since You've Been Gone', 'All of the Dreamers', 'DAF', and 'Waiting for the Sun'. They played stacks of songs from earlier albums which were good too.

Can't wait to hear the recording of it.
