    Maiden did a tour specifically dedicated to their 80s material just one year ago. This was a tour of their recent material. If you're gonna shell out big bucks (and drive out to White River) to go see them, you could at least do the bare minimum of research.

    @grid15: Listen. . . I have nothing but admiration for Petrucci, he is an american icon as far as Guitarists go. Again, you may not like the comparison between Winger and DT, AND i UNDERSTAND that a band is more than just vocals. . . in some cases, but if you tell me that SRV & Double Trouble is more than just Guitars, I'd say that you dont know a thing about the music that you listen to. Bruce Dickinson was indulging himself with his lack-luster stories of travel. . . maybe it was just his presentation, but either way, I'll go see Rollins for Spoken word. @Progdoctor: you're right, I don't listen to DT. The comparison isn't stupid from my side of the fence. Your defense of Dream Theater seems stupid from where I stand. I came for Maiden because they are better than DT.

    I was pretty disappointed Dream Theater played such a short set, even more so because we got there at the start of Constant Motion. Maiden put on a solid performance, but I hate how they barely touched upon stuff from the 80s.

    Yeah, the comparison of Dream Theater to Winger is stupid. Sounds like you didn't even listen to Dream Theater at all. Great show.

    @brienb totally agree on the Maiden set. & what happened to all the fun of the '08 stage show? But DT sounds like Winger?? You do know that a band is more than vocals, right? And that's even a stretch. God-like musicians is what they are.

    Well, it wasn't an AMERICAN Army surplus store. . . all the Surplus stores sell stuff from all over the worl, including the Soviet Union, Tsekkoslovakia, Sweden, Denmark, Brazil . . . so it isn't too hard to imagine that ONE Surplus store somewhere in the US would have a UK Police toilet in their supply.
