Sat 10 Apr – Pavement
I randomly shouted WESTIE CAN DRUM and Spiral actually answered back YES HE CAN
that's all I can remember for now
the whole night was almost surreal and now I'm struggling to piece together the images I saw that night but they're slipping away way too fast
it makes me sad
one lesson I learned from that night though, is that however many Pavement shows I attend there always will exist a certain void in my mind that can never be filled
it's just that I cannot have them all to myself
and what good would it do even if I succeeded in doing so?
but one thing's clear, I was just happy to see them alive and well, being themselves and enjoying themselves onstage - I'd better just leave them forever in my memories as unapproachable all-time heroes of mine. LONG LIVE PAVEMENT x
