Mon 3 Jan – Nirvana, Butthole Surfers, Tad, Bobcat Goldthwait
That was a really great gig, but Kurt was really kind of solemn in his performance. The Forum was this kind of place where they sold livestock and it stunk pretty bad after you pack it with like 5000 people. Bob Goldthwait was hilarious and made jokes about Bryan Adams and Celine Dion.lol. The tiny festival vibe was fully in it's height and Nirvana was the at the top of the heap. The stars aligned that night and everyone I knew was there, we were all just kids, we didn't know how that last concert was going to affect our lives a few months later.
